Saturday, January 5 from 10 am - 12 pm

All children are invited to be read to by a teen or practice reading to a teen each month in the Children's Department - this program is presented by the teens of Ponte Vedra High School's Book Club! Select what you'd like to hear or read from any of our books or bring your favorites from home. Please note:  All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program and to be a teen participating in the program, you must be a member of the Ponte Vedra High School Book Club.

Just for Babies - Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings, January - April, at 10:15 am; babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby with Ms. Anne! Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime. Just for Babies  Spring Dates:  January 8 and 22; February 5 and 19; March 5 and 19; and April 2 and 16 (please note:  because of the New Year's Day holiday, January's "Just for Babies" will be held the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays just in January)

Family Storytime - Held every Tuesday morning, January - April, at 11 am with Ms. Anne; aimed at children 16 months - 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away! Family Storytime  Spring Dates: January 8, 15, 22, 29; February 5, 12, 19, 26; March 5, 12, 19, 26; and April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Wednesday, January 2 from 5 - 7 pm

All 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY are invited to have fun with your friends at the library and play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Snacks will be served. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and our friends at Sony. Call 827-6950 for more details! Please Note:  Starting in January 2013, Teen Gaming Night will now be open to 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY to make this program just for TEENS!

Monday, January 7 from 3 - 4:30 pm

The Great Books Discussion Group meets in the Small Conference Room. The short stories and essays in the program have been chosen for richness of ideas and quality of writing.
