Teens (Ages 13-18) are invited to have fun with friends at the library. Play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), our new Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo Wii, or X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing. Just for Babies: @10:15am; for babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby. Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime.

Children's Summer Florida Library Youth Program (FLYP)
3:30pm Thursdays, June 19 – July 31
Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library's FLYP Programs take place at 3:30pm on Thursdays beginning June 19 through July 31. We invite you to "Fizz, Boom, READ!" with us each week at the library. Children of all ages are welcome to attend; please be aware, however, that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. Don't miss Slime Sisters Science featuring your own Ms. Anne and Ms. Amy. These programs are brought to you by the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, with many thanks to the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for their generous support.

Are you starting your first job, graduating from high school, or heading off to college? Whatever the reason, every teen needs to learn how to manage money. The St. Johns River Chapter of Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and SJCPLS are teaming up to offer this full day (10am to 3pm) workshop to teens age 15-20. Subjects covered will be budgeting, saving, personal investing, using credit wisely, avoiding identity theft and more. Class size is limited so call us at 827-6950 or stop by the Reference Desk to register. This workshop is sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and lunch will be provided.

Bird Island Park (located behind the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library) is celebrating Earth Day on April 26 and the whole family is invited. Join your friends and neighbors for a free day of activities. Vendors include A1A Scenic Highway, MOSH, HAWKE with live wildlife, park tours with the county naturalist, storytimes, and live music. Hot dogs and drinks will be sold by Boy Scout Troop 277. The Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library is very grateful for our partnership with Bird Island Park's Ms. Suzanne and Ms. Gail for library storytimes.

Come into the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library to pick up a copy of Be Smart, Save Money coloring and activity books with crayons for your child. The books are supplied by The Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling in support of Wi$e Money Week in Florida.
