After Family Storytime, we'll celebrate loving our library by creating chalk-art outside, near Bird Island Park. Join us.

Celebrate International Peace Day at Family Storytime with stories celebrating peace and diversity with a special dreamcatcher craft afterwards. The dreamcatcher craft comes in a bag so you can catch Nemours BrightStart who will be here to give free early literacy screenings for ages 3 - 5.

Have you ever visited the St. Johns County Bookmobile? If not, now is the time. The Bookmobile will be parked near the front doors of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and will be available for patrons of all ages to tour and check out materials. Your SJCPLS library card works in the library and the Bookmobile. If you don't have a card yet, you can sign up for one on the Bookmobile. Be sure to join Ms. Anne for a special bookmark craft. Adding to the fun at the library is the last day of the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library's Book Sale - Bag Day - at which you can purchase a bag for $8 and load up with as many books as you like - the proceeds go to the library.
Tuesday, September 17 from 10am - 12:30pm
Children ages 3-5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lay and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.
