Kids, are you ready for a day of “miniature” fun? Join us at the Southeast Library on Saturday at 1pm when we will shrink you down to the size of an ant so that you can enjoy our “micro” games, crafts, and treats. At 2pm we will show a movie about kids who are zapped by their dad’s electronic magnetic shrinking invention and suddenly find themselves at eye-level with ants. This movie is rated PG.
Teen Coffeehouse & Author Visit

Calling all teen artists, poets, and scholars! Come share your drawings, sketches, poems, stories...anything! We will meet in the Teen Lounge and share our art and the art of others. This month special guest Shannon Greenland, author of "The Summer My Life Began" and "The Specialists" series, will be joining us. Bring your sketchbooks, journals, and your own coffee mug and we'll fill it with decaf coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or apple cider. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.
Tech for Tots Storytime

Join Miss Alex for a special interactive storytime featuring stories, songs, and games using an iPad. Discover some amazing free apps available for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, as well as library resources such as Tumblebooks. You are welcome to bring your own iPad to follow along, but it is not required.
Read to Rover Holiday Party

Elementary-aged children are invited to practice their reading skills when they read to our canine friends Maddie, Bambina, and Thumbelina! We will have holiday books to read, doggie and kiddie treats to share, and pictures with Santa Paws!
Family Movie Marathon

Kids driving you nuts? Bring them to the library for an afternoon of epic adventure. All ages are welcome; however, parents are advised that this film is PG-13 and contains epic battle sequences. Snacks, beverages, and comfy rugs to lie on will be provided. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

School's out early! Come to the library and use your creative skills to make some homemade holiday presents, ornaments, or anything you like. Different crafts and supplies will be available each day of the series. Crafts available are appropriate for all ages, from babies to teens.
The Holiday Craft Series will run select days from December 12 - December 21. Each session runs for two hours, unless otherwise noted.
