Vegetarian Ways: Keeping it Tasty

S.T.A.N.D. Against Bullying with Mark Alan

Magician Mark Alan deals with a serious topic in a fun manner using comedy, magic, ventriloquism, musical routines, and lots of interaction to help give kids the tools to take a stand against bullying. This 45-minute program is intended for elementary-age children, but is fun for all. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

 

 

Teen Coffeehouse

Calling all teen artists, poets, and scholars: It’s time to go back to school, so join us for a school supplies trade. Bring in a folder or notebook to decorate and give away to another teen. Don’t forget to bring artwork to share and your mug and we’ll fill it up with hot chocolate, tea, or decaf coffee, compliments of the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

 

 

Chalk It Up With Pelican Pete

Nature Detective Workshop for Kids

Children (Age 6-12) are invited to a hands-on workshop to become Nature Detectives. Kids will learn all about lizards, including how to spot them and how these pollinators relate to gardening. Every child will receive free gardening goodies, including Nature Detective notebooks. This workshop is designed by the Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants, presented by the Geranium Circle, and sponsored by the Garden Club of St. Augustine and the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.
