Teen Financial Literacy

Teens (ages 15+) will learn about credit, scholarships, and grants at this free FICPA workshop. Breakfast & lunch will be provided. Registration is mandatory. Please call the library at 827-6900 to register.

 

Teen Coffeehouse

Calling all teen artists, poets, and scholars: Share your work, meet new friends, and hang out in our Teen Lounge. Bring your mug and we'll fill it up with hot chocolate, tea, or decaf coffee courtesy of the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

Yoga for Kids

Yoga is a great way to increase flexibility, lower stress, and improve energy. Learn to relax your mind and body with some simple, kid-friendly stretches and exercises. This program is for beginners and fun for the whole family.  It is recommended that you wear loose clothing and bring your own towel or mat.

Kids going crazy at home? Come join us for fun and snacks as we watch an ordinary Lego construction worker recruited to join a quest to stop an evil tyranny from gluing the universe into eternal stasis. This movie is rated PG and is great for the whole family.

 

Southeast Book Club: The Boys in the Boat

Everyone is invited to join us as we discuss Daniel Brown's lastest book which centers around the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant. New members are always welcome. 

 

Knotty Knitters

Everyone is welcome to join the Southeast Branch's Knitting Club...The Knotty Knitters. All ages and abilities are encouraged to join and instruction can be provided to beginners. Make new friends and learn a new craft.
