Teens ages 13 - 18 ONLY are invited to join our new Teen Advisory Board and have a say in the books and audio-visual materials we order for teens, the teen programs we offer, and much more at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library! Participation in the Teen Advisory Board counts as service hours and snacks will be served provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us for our first meeting - led by Youth Services Librarian Anne Crawford - and get involved!
Teen Gaming Night
Wednesday, January 2 from 5 - 7 pm
All 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY are invited to have fun with your friends at the library and play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Snacks will be served. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and our friends at Sony. Call 827-6950 for more details! Please Note: Starting in January 2013, Teen Gaming Night will now be open to 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY to make this program just for TEENS!

Teens, (grades 6-12) bring your friends and come on out for an evening of gaming on Saturday, April 27 -- we have Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Wii, PS3, or play the newest Halo game on X-Box 360! Refreshments will be served.
Teen Volunteer Orientation

FAFSA Workshop

Do you have a child entering college? Every student who applies to college must file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to apply for federal student aid (loans or grants) and to apply for most state and individual college aid. Please join financial aid director Wayne Bodiford for help understanding the FAFSA and college aid process.
Teen Coffeehouse & Author Visit

Calling all teen artists, poets, and scholars! Come share your drawings, sketches, poems, stories...anything! We will meet in the Teen Lounge and share our art and the art of others. This month special guest Shannon Greenland, author of "The Summer My Life Began" and "The Specialists" series, will be joining us. Bring your sketchbooks, journals, and your own coffee mug and we'll fill it with decaf coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or apple cider. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.
