J.A.A.M. (Japanese Anime At Main)

Tweens, teens, and young twenty-somethings are invited to the monthly meeting of our anime club, where you can meet others with similar interests. We’ll be viewing assorted Anime & enjoying Japanese candy. Feel free to wear a costume if you’d like and come JAAM with us!
Teen Book Club - Moby Dick by Herman Melville (2nd half)

Teens will be going "classic" this month with the second half of Melville's Moby Dick. Join us for snacks and discussion. New members are always welcome!
Family Game Time @ Ponte Vedra
Wednesday, August 22 from 3 - 6 pm
On the 4th Wednesday of every month between 3 - 6 pm, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games! Simply use your library card or driver's license to check out a board game or two from the Reference Desk and play anywhere in the library. Call the Library at 827-6950 for more details. All board games are generously provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
Teen Gaming Night
Wednesday, August 1 from 5 - 7 pm
School's out for the summer! Enjoy your summer break with gaming at the library. For middle and high school students ages 11 - 18 ONLY - have fun with your friends at the library and play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Snacks will be served. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, Sabina of GameStop, and Sean of Sony PlayStation. Call 827-6950 for more details!
LEGO Club for Tweens
Wednesday, August 8 from 4 - 5 pm
Tweens ages 9 - 13/4th - 7th grade ONLY are invited to come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library. No registration is necessary and it's free! Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens!
