School's out for the summer! Enjoy your summer break with gaming at the library. For middle and high school students ages 11 - 18 ONLY - have fun with your friends at the library and play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Are you starting your first job, graduating from high school, or heading off to college?  Whatever the reason, every teen needs to learn how to manage money.  The St. Johns River Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the St. Johns County Public Library System are teaming up to offer this full day (10 am to 3 pm) workshop for teens age 15-20.  Subjects covered will be budgeting, saving, personal investing, using credit wisely, avoiding identity theft and more!  Class size is limited, so call us at 827-6970 to register!  Lunch will be provided.

Registration is open for the "Fun with Flowers...for KIDS!" workshops (ages 5 - 12 ONLY) and the Teen Financial Workshop (ages 15 - 20 ONLY)! The "Fun with Flowers...for KIDS!" workshops will be on Saturday, July 14 at 2 pm and 3 pm (repeat workshop) and the Teen Financial Workshop is Saturday, July 28. June 1 - August 4

Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library's 1st Teen Summer Reading Program will run from June 1 - August 4. All middle school and high school students (rising 6th - 12th graders ONLY) are invited to participate in your own summer reading program! Simply read whatever you want and fill out a review on each book read to be entered into a weekly raffle. Review forms are available at the Reference Desk. Weekly prizes are brand-new copies of Scholastic titles for middle and high school youth purchased by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library! All book reviews will be entered into the grand prize raffle in August. Please call the Library at 827-6950 with any questions.
