New Release Movie Event

Bilbo Baggins, a respectable, well-to-do hobbit, lives comfortably in his hobbit-hole until the day the wandering wizard Gandalf chooses him to take part in an adventure from which he may never return. Chess Club for Grades 5-12

Check or Checkmate?  Do you play chess?  Do you want to learn how to play chess?  Wondering what the terms pins, ranks and skittles mean? If you're in 5th through 12 grades and would like to be part of a chess club, we have the right one for you!  We're meeting at 4 pm on Wednesday--join us!

 

Teen Tech Week: Safe Social Networking

Teen Tech Week: Learn to Solder

computer chipTuesday, March 12 @ 6 pm

Learn how to solder small electronics with Mr. Aaron from the Palm Coast Radio Shack.  This is a "Maker Spaces" program that encourages teenagers to explore new mediums and use their imaginations.  Teens aged 13 and up will be invited to participate and use the soldering iron under supervision.  Tweens are welcome to attend as observers.

 

J.A.A.M. (Japanese Anime At Main)

JAAMMonday, March 18 @ 5 pm
Tweens, teens, and young twenty-somethings are invited to the monthly meeting of our anime club at the Main Library, where you can meet others with similar interests. We’ll be viewing assorted Anime & enjoying Japanese candy.  Feel free to wear a costume if you’d like and come JAAM with us!

Family Game Time

Family Board Game NightWednesday, March 27 from 3 - 6 pm

On the 4th Wednesday of every month between 3 - 6 pm, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games. Simply use your library card or driver's license to check out a board game or two and play anywhere in the library. Challenge your family and friends to your favorite games! Call the Library at 827-6950 for more details. All board games are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
