Teen Advisory Board
Tuesday, April 16 from 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Teens ages 13 - 18 ONLY are invited to join our new Teen Advisory Board and have a say in the materials we order for teens, the teen programs we offer, and much more at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Participation in the Teen Advisory Board counts as service hours and snacks will be served provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us for our meeting - led by Youth Services Librarian Anne Crawford - and get involved. This meeting will be held the 3rd Tuesday - instead of the 2nd Tuesday - due to the Library's Book Sale.
Teen Gaming Night
Wednesday, April 3 from 5 - 7 pm
All 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY are invited to have fun with your friends at the library and play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Snacks will be served. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and our friends at Sony. Call 827-6950 for more details! J.A.A.M. (Japanese Anime At Main)

Tweens, teens, and young twenty-somethings are invited to the monthly meeting of our anime club, where you can meet others with similar interests. We’ll view assorted Anime & enjoy Japanese treats. Feel free to wear a costume if you’d like and come "JAAM" with us!
National Library Week Event: Kids & Tweens Crafts with Cat in the Hat

Come into the library to celebrate National Library Week by making some great crafts. You can hang out with Cat in the Hat while making your own canvas bags, origami book marks and bottlecap jewelry. New Release Movie Event

Teen Tech Week: Safe Social Networking

Deputy English of the St. Johns County Sheriff's Department will meet with teens to discuss Internet safety and how to have fun safely with Facebook and other social networking applications.
Teen Tech Week: Learn to Solder
Tuesday, March 12 @ 6 pm
Learn how to solder small electronics with Mr. Aaron from the Palm Coast Radio Shack. This is a "Maker Spaces" program that encourages teenagers to explore new mediums and use their imaginations. Teens aged 13 and up will be invited to participate and use the soldering iron under supervision. Tweens are welcome to attend as observers.
