Are you a Minecraft fan? Tweens and teens can come into the library to make some paper toy monsters. Create monsters that look like something right out of a Minecraft or Roblox game.

The Knit Wits is a family affair. Kids 8-17 are welcome to learn to knit, or bring along mom so she can learn too. Learn to knit, or bring in something you’ve already started, and knit with the group. Please bring your own knitting needles, if you have them.

Calling all teen artists, poets, and scholars...it's finally summer! Pick up your summer reading log and talk with other teens about the books you plan to read this summer. Bring your drawings, poems, short stories, or anything else you want to share with this talented group of teens. Don't forget your mug - coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be provided.

Microwave cooking at its easiest. Learn to make tasty meals and snacks in a coffee mug at this mini-series spinoff of our popular Teen Survival Cooking. Teens (Ages 11-18) are welcome to this program, sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

Explore creative writing with the author of the Hungry Ghost books. Flagler Beach author, Becky Pourchot, returns to Southeast to share some creative exercises, group activities, and BBQ. Teens, ages 11-18, are welcome to bring their own stories and poems to share. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library. Registration is required. Are you starting your first job, graduating from high school, or heading off to college? Whatever the reason, every teen needs to learn how to manage money. The St. Johns River Chapter of Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and SJCPLS are teaming up to offer this full day (10am to 3pm) workshop to teens age 15-20. Subjects covered will be budgeting, saving, personal investing, using credit wisely, avoiding identity theft and more. Class size is limited so call us at 827-6950 or stop by the Reference Desk to register. This workshop is sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and lunch will be provided.
