Please join us for any or all of our monthly book clubs. We will discuss a different book each month. All titles are available to borrow through your library and many are available to borrow as a library eBook! There will be no meeting in December.
July 31: The Boys in the Boat by Daniel Brown
Daniel James Brown's robust book tells the story of the University of Washington’s 1936 eight-oar crew and their epic quest for an Olympic gold medal, a team that transformed the sport and grabbed the attention of millions of Americans.
August 28: The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult
Sage Singer becomes friends with an old man who is particularly beloved in her community after they strike up a conversation at the bakery where she works. One day he asks Sage for a favor, to kill him. Shocked, Sage refuses, but then he tells her he deserves to die. Once he reveals his secret, Sage wonders if he is right.
