Library patrons can request materials not currently owned in the St. Johns County Library System from their local branch online. Items that can NOT be requested through Interlibrary Loan are: Items currently owned by SJCPLS; Newly published materials (less than one year old); Feature films less than three years old; Fictional television series; textbooks; entire issues of periodicals; rare books or materials; materials for class, reserve or group use; e-books or e-documents; multiple copies of the same title for group use (book clubs) Patrons may have a total of 10 ILL's at a time. Patrons will be charged $2 for each interlibrary loan item they fail to pick up. After three infractions, their interlibrary loan privileges will be suspended for a period of twelve months. There is a $5 postage fee for items outside of the state courier delivery service, due at the time of checkout. View the Full ILL Policy.
We will do our best to acquire the material requested and place patrons on hold for it by either Inter-Library Loaning or purchasing the items as our budget allows.
If you need any assistance with the form, please contact your local branch.
