Did you know your library card can be used for more than just checking out books? The American Library Association came up with a list of 52 ways to use your library card, which can be viewed by clicking on the Smartest Card logo. To celebrate National Library Card Sign-Up Month this year we are challenging the teens and adults of St. Johns County to help us come up with a local list. Stop by the Main Library during September to submit 1 to 52 ways you have found to use your library card. The most unique ways will be compiled into a final list at the end of the month. For each way you submit that ends up on the final list, you may select a FREE book off our prize cart!

Tweens, teens, and young twenty-somethings are invited to the monthly meeting of our anime club, where you can meet others with similar interests. We’ll be viewing assorted Anime & enjoying Japanese candy. Feel free to wear a costume if you’d like and come JAAM with us!

On the 4th Wednesday of every month between 3 - 6 pm, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games! Simply use your library card or driver's license to check out a board game or two from the Reference Desk and play anywhere in the library. Challenge your family and friends to your favorite games! Tweens ages 9 - 13/4th - 7th grade ONLY are invited to come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library.
