The Library has a Friends of the Library organization for each branch and the bookmobiles. Friends groups are volunteer, nonprofit support organizations helping their library to grow and thrive. Join the Friends and help your public library. All donations to the Friends of the Library are tax deductible!
Donations
Our libraries and Friends of the Library volunteer’s procedures on donations are adapted on a branch by branch basis. Please reach out to your closest branch library for details.
Anastasia Island Branch: Accepting donations during library’s open hours.
Bartram Trail Branch: Accepting donations during library’s open hours.
Hastings Branch: Not accepting donations at this time.
Main Branch: Accepting donations. For small batches, please drop them in the book return. For larger donations, please contact the library for delivery instructions.
Ponte Vedra Beach Branch: Accepting donations. Donations exceeding 3 shopping bags may be submitted by appointment only. Appointments may be made by stopping into Seymour’s Book Store or by phone at (904) 273-3990.
Southeast Branch: Accepting donations. For donations up to one box full, please bring them to the front desk. For larger donations, please email folsemembership@gmail.com for delivery instructions.
Bookmobile: Not accepting donations at this time.
Used Bookstores
Support your local branch by purchasing used books from either the FOL Book sales (listed below) or through these FOL Bookstores.
- Seymour’s Bookstore in the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library – Phone: (904) 273-3990 Open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Sunday.
- Friends Book Nook in the Southeast Branch Library – Located toward the back of the library (look for the awning). Open Monday through Saturday, hours vary. Check the bookstore door or call 827-6929 or 827-6900 for weekly hours.
- Friends Bookstore in the Main Library – Open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On-going book sale in library reading area open during branch operating hours. Books may be purchased with cash or check only.
