Career Online High School (COHS) offers adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and a career certificate online with the flexibility of online access, 24/7. Our program provides a limited number of scholarships to qualified students who are looking to advance their careers, and prepare for workforce entry or continue their education.

To be considered for enrollment: complete the online self–assessment, the prerequisite course, and an in-person interview with library staff.

Requirements: be 19 years of age or older, have a library card in good standing, or be willing to apply for a library card.

Once enrolled, COHS pairs each student with an online academic coach who provides the student with an individual career path, offers ongoing guidance, evaluates performance, and connects the student with resources needed to master the courses. Students have up to 18 months to complete the program, which consists of 18 credits. Students may transfer up to 14 credits from former accredited high schools. Depending on how many credits are transferred, the program may be completed in as few as five months.
