Ned has cooked and worked in kitchens since he was 14, opening his first restaurant in Athens, Ohio at the age of 25. In St. Augustine he has opened three restaurants: Malaga St. Depot (1980), Gypsy Cab Company (1983), and Ned’s Southside Kitchen (2010). He retired in 2018 but has NEVER stopped cooking! He published a cookbook in 2020 (which will be available), and will be at the Hastings Library for an evening of sharing his talent, stories, and good food.
