BLACK HISTORY IN ST. AUGUSTINE WITH DAVID NOLAN

Southeast Branch Adult Programs

St. Augustine has an incredibly rich Black history–going back to the earliest known Black settlers on these shore in the 1500s on up through the civil rights movement of the 1960s, during which Martin Luther King hailed “the heroes of St. Augustine,”  and into the 21st century. Come and learn some of these important stories with author and historian David Nolan as the nation celebrates Black History Month.
