BLACK HISTORY MONTH – ZOOM BOOK LOVERS BOOK CLUB: “FROM SCRATCH” BY TEMBI LOCKE

This month’s Book Lovers Book Club selection – celebrating Black History Month – is From Scratch by Tembi Locke, an autobiography. This title is described as follows:  “Now a limited Netflix series starring Zoe Saldana! You must RSVP below in order to receive the Zoom link for this month’s Zoom meeting of the Book Lovers Book Club. The Zoom meeting link will be emailed to you one day before the meeting. You’ll also need a Zoom account to participate, and you can get a free one at the following website:  www.zoom.us. If you need assistance making your online RSVP, simply call us at the library at (904) 827-6950 so that we may assist you.

Book Lovers Book Club’s meetings are hosted bi-monthly by Anne and Trinh, our Adult Services Staff! Our Book Club features hand-selected titles by Adult Services Librarian Anne Crawford. All of our monthly selections are available for checkout with a SJCPLS library card in a variety of formats:  print and audiobook CDs via SJCPLS’s catalog and downloadable e-books and e-audiobooks via Overdrive. Attendees do not have to be SJCPLS card holders or St. Johns County residents to participate. We hope you can join us for an engaging book discussion with fellow readers!
