St. Johns Reads is a special time here, and it will be enjoyable to learn to make flowers from discarded book pages. Bartram Trail Library staff will be coming to our neck of the woods to teach you how! We will then create a wreath to adorn your home!
All supplies are provided by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.
“St. Johns Reads is the St. Johns County Public Library System’s annual “One Book, One Community” event focused on creating a shared conversation on a selected novel. In its 20th year, St. Johns Reads 2024 features a variety of programs inspired by “The Reading List” by Sara Nisha Adams, including special events with the author at each branch library from January 30 to February 2. To learn more about the events with Sara Nisha Adams or other St. Johns Reads programming, please visit www.sjcpls.org/st-johns-reads. “The Reading List” is available to enjoy from your library in print, digital audiobook, and e-book formats.
Funding for this program was provided through a grant from Florida Humanities with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this program do not necessarily represent those of Florida Humanities or the National Endowment for the Humanities. St. Johns Reads is generously supported by the SJCPLS’ Friends of the Library groups.”
We look forward to seeing you Thursday, January 4th at 10:30am for a wonderful St. Johns Reads craft!
