EARLY ELEMENTARY S.T.E.M. GRADES K-2

Theme-Apple Head- Design and engineer a “basket” to carry apples on your head using only selected craft supplies. Then, without using your hands, race your friends to the finish line without spilling your apples.

Can’t get enough S.T.E.M. activities? This afterschool S.T.E.M. program is geared for students in kindergarten through second grade with a strong focus on science and engineering. Join Ms. Karen twice a month to take part in some fun and engaging S.T.E.M. activities. Space is limited to 20 students and registration is required. Please register @ sjcpls.org.

Only register the student who is attending. Please do not register younger or older siblings as activities are not suitable for other ages. Younger siblings accompanying their caregivers will be provided with coloring sheets or other manipulatives as not to disturb the students who are participating and learning. If registration is full, staff will maintain a waitlist at the youth services desk.
