ALPHABET STEM- POPCORN SCIENCE
March 1 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 amFree
Kids ages 3-5 can join Ms. Karen at the Southeast Branch Library as we continue our very popular S.T.E.M. Storytime series. This time, we will learn science, technology, engineering and math as we work our way through the alphabet. Every letter includes a hands-on project to participate in or to complete with their caregiver. Class size is limited to 20 young scientists.
This week’s letter is P. We will be discussing popcorn. Learn about one of America’s favorite snacks. We will explore the life cycle of corn and many other interesting facts. Learn its many uses; from a food source to gasoline and everything in between. Discover why popcorn pops when heated. Find out if one brand of popcorn pops better than another.
Please register only the number of child participants. Caregivers should not include themselves in the total number of participants when registering.
