Kids, ages 7-10, are encouraged to join our Jr. LEGO Robotics class and learn how to build cool robots and program them too! Each month we will feature a different robot build using the LEGO WeDo 2.0 robotics kits. Classes are FREE and each class lasts 1 hour. Space is limited so registration is required. For more information on this exciting program, feel free to contact Youth Services Librarian, Andy Calvert, at 827-6940 or at acalvert@sjcfl.us. This program would not be possible without the generous support of our Friends of the Library and their fundraising efforts.
Grabbing Objects – In this month’s program, we will build and program a robotic claw that can move objects from one place to another.
Please only RSVP for each child attending. Kids will be grouped in sets of two for a collaborative building experience.
Please only RSVP for one class each month. The class will be repeated throughout the month so more kids will have the chance to participate.
Classes are strictly limited to 9 robotics kits so please cancel your RSVP if you are unable to attend. Someone WILL be waiting to take your spot if you can’t use it.
