The Nature Detective Workshops for Kids are presented by the Garden Club of St. Augustine, and this summer, children will learn all about a special pollinator: honeybees! Find out more about all the wonderful ways honeybees help our environment and how you can help honeybees now through interactive, fun, and educational activities. Each child will go home with a free book on honeybees, newly written and published by author Marta Magellan, along with a gardening kit to help honeybees in your own backyard. Bartram Trail Branch Library’s Nature Detective Workshop is generously sponsored by the Garden Club of St. Augustine and the Bartram Trail Branch Friends of the Library. (Session A and Session B are repeat programs; please only register for one)
Note: This presentation will include a real beehive with live honeybees inside. Please do not attend if anyone in your party is allergic to bees. All caregivers will be required to sign a waiver prior to the beginning of the program.
For children ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register every child and adult who will be in attendance.
