SJC SHERIFF PRESENTS: W.A.V.E. WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE STRATEGIES FOR AGES 13 AND UP

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department will present WAVE. It stands for Women Against Violent Encounters and focuses on situational awareness, verbal commands, assertiveness and physical techniques. You will receive one-on-one training and practice with an all-woman team of officers and deputies.  We want to empower women by building their confidence and providing the tools needed to protect themselves and their loved ones.

This program is targeted for women who are 13 or older.
