Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine welcomes the Tale Tellers of St. Augustine to present their Summertime Stories!

“It Was So Hot That—Summer Time Stories” at the Main Library on August 11, 2023.

See “It Was So Hot That—Summer Time Stories” on Friday, August 11, 2023, 2:00pm at Main Branch Library,1960 N. Ponce De Leon Blvd., St. Augustine. Enjoy a cool afternoon of adventure with personal stories of the summer season. Join members of the Tale Tellers of St. Augustine:  Kathy Duffy, Margaret Kaler, Chris Kastle, Ted Miller, Lou Novak, and Rose van der Berg — all amazing performers.

The show encompasses a broad range of talent and expertise: Kathy Duffy is is an accomplished teller with stories that span the lighthearted to the dark and scary; Margaret Kaler carries on her family traditions of theater and storytelling; Chris Kastle is a critically acclaimed and award winning storyteller, songsmith and author; Ted Miller tells amusing and sometimes harrowing tales of his ocean voyages; Lou Novak is a merchant mariner who shares his many adventures; and Rose van der Berg weaves eccentric characters with songs and improvisation into her tales.

This program is free and open to the public, this event will take place inside the Main Library in the large meeting room. Doors will open at 1:30pm, and the presentation starts promptly at 2:00 pm. For more information, please call the Main Library at 904-827-6940.
