In honor of the 20th year of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Southeast Branch Library is partnering with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office to present a special workshop on cyberbullying for tweens, teens, and their parents.
SJCSO Lieutenant Dave Tarbart will present Stand Up! Speak Out! Prevent Bullying Now! to give teens and tweens the tools they need to protect their “digital footprint” and guard against destructive online behavior.
Parents are encouraged to attend and all teens who attend the entire workshop will earn one hour of community service. Seating is first come first served until we reach room capacity. For more information about this workshop, or programming at the Southeast Branch Library, contact Karen Newsome, at knewsome@sjcfl.us.
