Event Details

In this Baking History class we will make Russian Blinis with a Halloween filling and hear the thrilling tale of “The Night Witches” who battled courageously against the Nazis in WWII.  This unit was part of the Russian army and comprised only female pilots, most of them of a very young age.  These pilots fought fierce air battles against the Nazi pilots.  The unit was so highly trained, and caused so many casualties and damage to the Nazis, that they called them “The Night Witches.

For kids in grades 4 to 12.  Space is limited.  Please register to attend.  To register stop by the reference desk or call us at 827-6960.
