This weekly conversational class beginning April 2nd meets most Thursdays at 9:00 am and will focus on practical situations. Additionally, you will learn about the customs and culture of Italy. Instructor Santino was born in Sicily and came to the US at the age of 12. He was a public school teacher of French and Spanish for several years before starting his Italian program. He taught for 44 years before retiring. After retirement he taught Conversational Italian at the Council on Aging and now leads the wildly popular Conversational group at the Main Library.
