Everyone is invited to the 2022 – 2023 Dr. Gerson Yessin Music Series, sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. The monthly musical events that comprise this Series are free to attend and held in the FOL Community Room of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library unless another location is noted. Doors will open at 6 pm for the 6:30 pm event. Each music event is an hour long as closing time for the library is 8 pm.

The University of North Florida Jazz Ensemble I will be opening the 2022/2023 Dr Gerson Yessin Music Series. This group is the flagship Ensemble of the prestigious UNF Jazz Studies Program. Thanks to the visionary leadership of Rich Matteson in 1986, UNF JEI has enjoyed the reputation of being one of the finest collegiate jazz ensembles worldwide. Jazz Ensemble I has won numerous group and individual awards and has been invited to perform at prestigious Jazz festivals in both the U.S. and Europe. They are under the direction of J.B. Scott.
