The Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library is hosting its monthly Speaker Series, held in the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library’s FOL Community Room. This monthly series, featuring a different local speaker each month, is free and open to the public. This month, the speaker is Dr. Paul Brazis, Emeritus Professor in Neurology at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine and consultant in neurology and neuro-ophthalmology for Mayo Clinic. The title of his talk is Death in the Arena:  Gladiatorial Games from Ancient Rome. Seating is first-come, first-served until room capacity is reached.
