The Global Cardboard Challenge, inspired by the short film Caine’s Arcade, is an annual world-wide event held the first Saturday of October. When 9-year-old Caine Monroy built an elaborate cardboard arcade in his father’s used auto parts store, he was just passing time. Little did he know that his creation would be discovered by a passing filmmaker and spawn communities of creativity for years to come. So far, nearly 1 million kids in 80 countries have taken the Cardboard Challenge. Be one of them!
