Join us for weekly classes to learn the basics of coding, for ages 8 and up. Supplies are limited, so registration is required. Call 904-827-6900 to register for this free series.

Offered in partnership with Pedro Menendez School Librarian Kate Neff. The “Hour of Code” is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.

Why computer science? Computer science is foundational. Every 21st century student should have the opportunity to learn how to create technology. Computer science is changing every industry on the planet. The basics of computer science also help nurture creativity and problem solving skills, and prepare students for any future career.
