Event Details

Registration Required! Kids ages 3-5 can join Ms. Karen at the Southeast Branch Library as we continue our very popular S.T.E.M. Storytime series.  This time, we will learn science, technology, engineering and math as we work our way through the alphabet.  Every letter includes a hands-on project to participate in or to complete with their caregiver.  Class size is limited to 15 young scientists.

This week’s letter is “A” with an apple theme. We will be conducting the melting apple science (chemistry) experiment as well as learning all about the life cycle of the apple.  We will also be learning about a simple bar graph (math) as we taste and discover our favorite type of apple.  (More science-using our taste sense).  All classes include take home ideas and/or handouts for theme extension activities.

Please register only the number of child participants. Caregivers should not include themselves in the total number of participants when registering.
