Event Details

Registration Required! Kids ages 3-5 can join Ms. Karen at the Southeast Branch Library as we continue our very popular S.T.E.M. Storytime series.  This time, we will learn science, technology, engineering and math as we work our way through the alphabet.  Every letter includes a hands-on project to participate in or to complete with their caregiver.  Class size is limited to 15 young scientists.

This week’s letter is “G” with a Gross science theme. Kids love everything gross!  For the final fall S.T.E.M. storytime we will be creating edible gross science. Join us to make edible scabs and learn why and how our blood clots.  Also we will be making edible q-tips complete with ear wax (never put real q-tips in your ears) along with discussing the importance of ear wax.  Finally, kids will create some edible boogers and learn why our bodies make snot.  Are you ready for some gross science just in time for Halloween?

Please register only the number of child participants. Caregivers should not include themselves in the total number of participants when registering.
