Our Library’s Book Club (formerly the Wednesday Book Club) returns! Starting in July, we will be meeting once a month on Friday mornings. Please consider joining us, in person and in the FOL Community Room at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, for our very first meeting since the start of the Pandemic! The book we will be reading is The Testaments by Margaret Atwood, the sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale. If you would like a copy of the book to read or listen to, please stop by our Adult Reference Desk. Print copies, large print copies, and audiobook CD copies are available for you to checkout at that desk for this Book Club while copies last. If we run out of copies, we are happy to put you on the waiting list.

When you’re done reading, please return your copy to the Adult Reference Desk. Reading or listening to the The Handmaid’s Tale, also available for checkout at the Adult Reference Desk, is encouraged, but not required. Both The Testaments and The Handmaid’s Tale are also available to download and/or request as e-books for tablet, phone, etc. via Overdrive or with the Libby App and your SJCPLS library card!
