Learn how to become an independent cook. Join Ms. Karen as she teaches teens how to safely cook healthy, satisfying meals using only the microwave, a hot plate, or a toaster oven. Simple, healthy and delicious. This month we are making a healthier banana cinnamon roll in a mug, mac and cheese in a mug (made with all fresh ingredients-NOT FROM A BOX), and pineapple strawberry smoothies. YUM!!! All meals can be easily be converted to accommodate a vegetarian or gluten free lifestyle. On the menu is breakfast, lunch/dinner, and a dessert. All supplies provided by the Friends of the Library. Space is limited to 10 cooks. Registration is required!
