In this presentation, an ElderSource advocate will give an overview of Medicare, including parts A, B, C, D, Medigap, and financial assistance. The presentation will also talk about the variety of ways ElderSource can help seniors. ElderSource empowers people to live and age with independence and dignity in their homes and community. As the Area Agency on Aging, ElderSource and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs offers a FREE program called SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) to provide health insurance information and free, unbiased, and confidential counseling assistance to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers.
