Event Details

International Observe the Moon Night is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration. The annual event connects scientists, educators and lunar enthusiasts from around the world.

St. Johns County Public Library System is partnering with Sykes Family Farms, Ancient City Astronomy Club and Joe Komjathy, NASA Solar System Ambassador for this event. Telescopes will be available for viewing the Moon, Sun, constellations and visible planets.

The event is from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Sykes Family Farms Crop Maze, 5995 Brough Road, Elkton, FL 32033. Please contact Leslie, Bookmobile-Extension Services, 904-827-6944 for more information.
