We’re going to build a better world this summer during our annual Kids Summer Reading Program! We’re celebrating every Wednesday during the summer at 2pm with classes and shows designed for children ages 5 and up, but all are welcome.
This week, we’ll be learning about literal building during a Timucuan Technology class offered by Emily of the Florida Public Archaeology Network. Elementary and middle school aged kids will learn about the building techniques of the native Timucuans of Northeast Florida through exciting, hands-on STEM activities.
Also make sure to pick up your summer reading log and keep track of each day that you read. You can stop by the library any time to get it stamped and pick up your prizes.
