Event Details

We’re going to build a better world this summer during our annual Kids Summer Reading Program! We’re celebrating every Wednesday during the summer at 2pm with classes and shows designed for children ages 5 and up, but all are welcome.

This week, we’ll be learning how kids can take action to reduce the consumption of plastics, and the effect plastics have on our world. This class will include a presentation, hands-on learning, and a related craft. Taught by local Captain & Environmental Educator with St. Augustine Eco Tours, Adam Morley. Adam recently won the 2017 Green Living Award from the Florida Wildlife Federation.

This program is a community effort by St. Augustine Eco Tours, North Florida Coastal Caretakers, and the Friends of the Southeast Library. Thank you!

Also make sure to pick up your summer reading log and keep track of each day that you read. You can stop by the library any time to get it stamped and pick up your prizes.
