Join Golden Globe Race (GGR) 2022 entrant, Elliott Smith, as he prepares for the race of a lifetime – sailing solo and non-stop around the world! Elliott is in St. Augustine readying his vintage sailboat for this 30,000 mile adventure that will use only technology and equipment that would have been available in the first Golden Globe Race in 1968. Elliott will share what inspired him to enter the GGR, the skills and knowledge that he has had to acquire, and any other preparations that he will be undertaking as he prepares for this possibly ten-month long solo journey.
