MAIN-iac Science Lab will stream live each Wednesday at 1:30pm and explore different scientific concepts, cool inventors and more. In this week’s program we will explore the magical Crayola Crayon. We’ll learn about the man who invented the crayon and a little history about the crayon itself. We’ll wrap up this session with a fun crayon art project. Younger kids will definitely need adult supervision for this one so parents be prepared to play along.
Supplies needed include:
Crayons! Broken ones are fine, probably preferred.
Sturdy paper like construction paper, a variety of colors.
A makeshift easel.
A hair dryer (parents, you will want to help when using this).
A workspace suitable for making messy art.
Clothing suitable for making messy art.
