Join us for a special presentation of MAIN-iac Science Labs as we invite Terran McGinnis, from Marineland, to teach kids all about blubber. How can whales and sea mammals swim and live in such cold water? Blubber! Terran will even lead a hands on experiment with blubber! You will get a chance to see just how insulating blubber can be! This program is aimed at kids ages 6-12, but all are welcome. Sponsored by The Friends of the Library.

This program begins at 4pm. Tickets are free and can be collected at the Children’s Desk beginning at 3pm the day of the program. Seating is limited. Only ticket holders can be guaranteed access to the program. Due to the restricted space, strollers will not be allowed inside the room during the program.
