Join us as we celebrate National Library Week with the ever-relevant PG-13 movie, “The Public,” a fictionalized, but true-to-life account about how libraries are so much more than books and give everyone the opportunity to “Find Their Place at the Library.” Light refreshments will be served. This engaging movie will be projected onto our large screen in the FOL Community Room for a theatre-like experience. From IMDB: “An act of civil disobedience turns into a standoff with police when homeless people in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold.” Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
