MAIN-iac Science Lab explores different scientific concepts, cool inventors and more. In this week’s program we will learn about volcanoes! We’ll learn about what they are, why they erupt and more. After the lesson we will try an experiment that mimics a small volcano eruption.

Materials needed:

Adult supervision – this is science after all

a medium size glass
vinegar
dishwashing liquid
baking soda
food coloring
a large baking tray (to catch the mess)
1 cup measuring cup
1 tbsp measuring spoon
extra towels, just in case
