Event Details

When Louise Nevelson walked the streets of New York picking up scraps, she wasn’t just keeping the neighborhood tidy. She was collecting interesting objects which she would arrange in a large-scale sculpture. She would then paint her piece all one color. Teens and tweens grades 6-12 are invited to create their own small-scale sculptures. This is an online event that you can conveniently watch on our website, our Facebook page, or our Youtube channel. Materials needed:  any small items you want to use. Can be recyclables like bottle caps, small items from the natural world, office items, beads, game pieces, etc.; a box in which to arrange them, spray paint or acrylic paint, hot glue.
