Teens and Tweens, grades 6-12, join Miss Carla in making a mason jar lid ornament for the holidays. Pick up a kit at your local library branch while supplies last, kits are limited.  Materials needed in addition to the kit are scissors and a hot glue gun. This is a non-sewing craft.

Materials needed if you do not pick up a kit at the library:

• Mason jar lid and band
• Plaid or holiday colored fabric (3.5-4 inch square is enough)
• Small (1-1.5 inches suggested) wooden cutout or holiday sticker for the center of the ornament
• Twine for hanging
• Small narrow ribbon for bow (optional)
• Hot glue gun or glue
• Scissors
