Registration Required. Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine is pleased to present an insider’s view of the History of U.S. Intelligence. Former CIA staffer Dr. Edward Mickolus will look at American intelligence from George Washington through today, focusing on the evolution of U.S. intelligence missions and organizations. He’ll cover how intelligence is collected, collated, analyzed, and delivered to key U.S. policymakers, explore the relationships between the 18 members of the Intelligence community, and offer insights into the intelligence cycle and agent acquisition cycle.

After earning his Ph.D. at Yale, Dr. Edward Mickolus served as a CIA staffer for 33 years (and another 5 years as a contractor), working as an analyst, operations officer, manager, recruiter, public affairs officer, and instructor.
